I realise I’ve said it before but I don’t see how another remake of Romeo + Juliet could be any better than the 1996 version. Baz Luhrmann’s version is a genius. Granted this is a modern take on the film and the 2012 remake may revert back to the time in which the play is set (most likely seeing as Fellowes is producing it) and be put in totally different context…

However the fact that Julian Fellowes has written the screenplay only sets me up for disappointment… you only need to take one look at ITV’s Titanic (I also hate Downton Abbey)

I hope I’m proved wrong.
